Now that summer is here to stay, there will be lots of family barbecues, summer outings and fresh produce from the garden. If you want to take advantage of this, and make a delicious and cooling summer salad with this strawberry balsamic vinaigrette!
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 5-6 large strawberries (or more for a sweeter taste)
- 1 tsp water
- A pinch of poppyseeds
- A pinch of salt and pepper for taste
Instructions
1. In a blender, add in all the liquid ingredients first
2. Clean and chop strawberries in halves
3. Then add in strawberries to blender and mix
4. Once strawberries are mixed in well, slowly start to add in poppyseeds & salt and pepper until it meets your desired taste
5. Continue to blend ingredients into smooth consistency and pour it into your fav jar (I stored it in a mason jar so it could last longer)
6. Enjoy as a salad dressing or as a glaze!
Let me know in the comments what you decide to make with it! I would love to hear feedback from you all.
I remember when you had a post on instagram with this vinaigrette, I tried it and it was so delicious! Going to make this soon with a garden salad, was also great for dipping veggies!
